Lizbug, Yes, all onboard purchases are "cashless" at point of sale. Your sea pass card is charged and then you settle the bill on the last day of the cruise. As far as I am aware, there are no areas onboard that accept "cash", with the exception of the tip envelopes of course! ;)
lizbug Posted April 28, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted April 28, 2005 so, do i take it the bill on the last day can be settled with cash, or does it have to be credit/debit card? many thanks
Honey's Gal Posted April 28, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2005 You can settle your bill on the last night (I wouldn't wait until morning, too crowded) and make sure you get a PAID receipt. If you do happen to spend after payment, that will go on you credit card. The casino is the only other place that you can use cash.. Have fun
wwinfl91 Posted April 28, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2005 You will get a bill the last night that shows what the total bill will be minus whatever you spend that night. If you have given them a credit card previously and the bill is correct, you don't need to do anything except pay the credit card bill when it shows up. Have a great next cruise. springtxbill Posted April 28, 2005 #6 Share Posted April 28, 2005 You can sometimes use cash only on the last morning before departure in the bars.:)
barbgazz Posted April 29, 2005 #7 Share Posted April 29, 2005 Actually, if you go to the pursors desk when you check in, you can put cash on your account, i think they require $250 per person and keep your debit/credit card out of the mix. Clubber Posted April 29, 2005 #9 Share Posted April 29, 2005 My brother in law uses cash only (despite our request for him to get a credit card). He just deposits it at the Pursers desk when he checks in and then usually gets a little cash back on the last day. Obviously, it's more safe to use a credit card and minimize the amount of cash/travelers checks taken.
