LJJQ Posted April 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2012 USA TODAY The recently completed first movie-themed cruise organized by cable channel Turner Classic Movies (TCM) apparently was a hit with fans as another one already is in the works. TCM host Robert Osborne on Sunday told attendees of the TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood that the December sailing was such a blast that the channel plans another one on Jan. 21, 2013. Dubbed the TCM Classic Cruise, the upcoming five-night voyage out of Miami will be a day longer than December's sailing and include stops in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. It'll take place on Celebrity Constellation. Take our photo tour of the Celebrity Constellation. "We had such a terrific time on the TCM Classic Cruise, we've decided to do it again," Osborne told attendees of the film festival. Headlining December's sailing was Academy Award winners Ernest Borgnine and Eva Marie Saint, along with Tippi Hedren, director Norman Jewison and Ben Mankiewicz. As with December's TCM cruise, the new sailing will include movie-themed events and activities, from screenings and panel discussions to trivia contests and other gatherings, TCM says. The voyage is being produced by TCM in partnership with theme cruise organizer Sixthman. More information is available online at tcmcruise.com.
