How far out can you book excursions

I booked the Oasis for next year (just got off the Freedom). How far out can you book excursions?

Usually around 60 days prior to sailing date more or less.

I often book popular excursions 6 - 8 months on advance. Less popular I wait since you prepay.

 

Final payment of the cruise is not required to book an excursion

I liked it better the way Princess did it on my last cruise with them, you book it in advance, but its only billed to your shipboard account when you do it.
