dress code in dining rooms

Is there a dress code in the dining room and restraunts, jeans, kakis, shorts allowed in any or all.

No shorts at dinner but this is a very casual cruise. I never wear jeans in the South Pacific so I really don;t know if they are allowed - I don;t even remember anyone wearing any!

Country club casual at dinner. I would not wear jeans and shorts are not allowed. Dockers, etc. are fine. Any collared shirt (golf shirt or button front shirt) is perfect. Many men where a tropical print shirt for some or all dinners. I would not recommend the really bright aloha shirts that look they are made of shiny silk.
