4Suzyq Posted May 14, 2012 #26 Share Posted May 14, 2012 I have many pairs of Old Navy flip flops and have never had a slipping problem. Mine have a little tread. If you walk on a wet surface you have a chance of slipping, even with top-siders.
socallisa Posted May 17, 2012 #27 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Wow never heard of that. Your the first that I've ever heard with that and Havianas..they are the number one selling flip flop in Brazil and has been for years and hardly anyone else buys any other brand there because of the quality of the shoe. It's hard to find any type of sandle that's pure rubber and it's extra good on a wet surface. Too bad. I've never heard of that either. havaianas are pretty much all I wear and I've never had any problems...nor have any of my friends. I guess everyone is different! Sorry you had problems but I wouldn't discourage others from trying them.
jwolf24601 Posted May 18, 2012 #28 Share Posted May 18, 2012 Another vote for Teva, I live in mine. They are so comfortable. +3 Teva's are a little firmer with tread bottoms, very comfy and worth the $25 in my opinion
