Luggage at port

Recommended Posts

We are sailing out of Port Canaveral on FOS. When we get to the port, is there help getting our luggage to the right area? Or carts to use? We are a family of four so we will have several pieces of luggage.

All you have to do is pull into the slot in the parking lot that they direct you to and the porter will do the rest including taking the luggage out of your car. While it is not necessary, we always have a couple dollars ready to tip the porters. Then you can go park your car in the garage and start your vacation. Your bags will then be delivered to your room later that afternoon.

The answer is yes to all of your questions. If you drive to the port; when you pull up there will be porters waiting; if you have not put on your cabin tags; they will do that for you. If you arrive by taxi or shuttle; same thing applies. Once your bags are tagged, the porters put them on luggage carts; when the carts are filled, they roll them over to the ship. You won't have to worry. We sailed Freedom in Dec with ten in our group. Everything went very smoothly
