blue_water Posted June 30, 2012 #26 Share Posted June 30, 2012 All we've done in Antigua is the beach, an island tour with Lawrence of Antigua, and the Excellence, a cat sail. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Excellence day sail, it's the best we've done. You go to Green Island for a snorkel with turtles, then tour the beautiful Antigua coast and ride through English Harbor. Great crew, food, and drinks. That would be a great excursion after a beach ceremony too but not enough time. Also contact Lawrence about the pirate thing.
sing2sas Posted July 15, 2012 #27 Share Posted July 15, 2012 How is Sapphire beach set up for concessions? Do they have food and beverages and chair rental available? I think someone mentioned jet skis but didn't see any reference to other things.

There was also a gal there with info on parasailing & jet skis. I'm assuming they run you over to Red Hook Marina for that which is a quick car hop away. We have always headed to Magens for our port day there (married there too in 05) but tried Saphire for the first time this past year. Weather was spotty with some rain and the water was a little rough but we weren't disappointed and would go there again. Snorkeling rocked once you find the coral. O2B@Cagain Posted July 15, 2012 #29 Share Posted July 15, 2012 Jet skis are at Sapphire Marina. The parasailing operation goes to the various beaches to pickup. There is a grill for food and drinks.
