So I know that 7 mi beach is about a $10 cab ride from the port but that's about it....

Whats it like?

Is there any particular stop you would recommend getting dropped off at?

Bathroom facilities?

Drinks/restaurants?

Is there a better beach to go to?

Thank you!!!

There is a bus that will drop you anywhere along the beach for $2.50 pp. It's right off the tender dock. They will be at the access points to bring you back to the ship, too!

Seagrape beach has restrooms, chair rentals, restaurant/bar, watersport rentals....and you will find similar things all up and down the stretch of beach. (despite it's name, it's not 7 miles long!!!)

Is Seagrape part of 7 mile beach?? or is it a totally different beach?

There are three fairly popular sections that get talked about a lot here...all with fairly similar facilities such as a bar/restaurant, watersports/chair/umbrella rentals, restrooms, showers, etc. Taxis or public buses can get you to all three from the port area fairly easily.

The main differences between the three:

Royal Palms - closest to the port, adults-only pool, rental cabanas, rarely has cruise excursions, closer to other shopping/restaurants ($2 pp cover charge)

Sea Grape/Public Beach - playground, some permanent picnic shelters, sometimes has cruise excursions (no cover charge)

Tiki Beach - furthest from the port, tends to have a lot of cruise excursions, newest facility, some feel beach isn't quite as good in that area, not much else in the area (not sure if there's a cover charge or not, but have never heard one mentioned)

Royal Palms is the only beach club with a pool, and it's adults-only.

There are watersports operators in all three locations, so I'm sure banana boating could be found relatively easily. Most operators have the same menu of activities... ;)

I'd probably recommend Sea Grape (Public Beach) since it seems to be where more of the families go, so there'd maybe be other teens to hang out with.
