Snuba or snorkeling?

I was reading about snuba which is a combination of scuba and snorkeling. We are beginners. Has anyone done this? We know we don't want scuba, but we are debating between snuba and snorkeling. Any help is welcome.

We went snorkeling but when I saw some ads for SNUBA, I wished I had done it instead.
