Rustynail Posted May 6, 2004 #27 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Princess - stay up from here on in and pretend that you have already staked out a deck chair by the pool enjoying a wonderful tropical drink while basking in the sunshine. hmmm that give you two extra days of vacation!!! Have a great cruise. I know you'll really enjoy that beautiful ship. I hear that the TV in each cabin is now equipped with Boten's 'Shoot the Newt' game for your comfort and pleasure. I say, could you really ask for more???? All the best. nealberk Posted May 8, 2004 #28 Share Posted May 8, 2004 And I guess Princess survived! Now all we have to do is help her through the first week back after the cruise.
theawesome1 Posted May 8, 2004 #29 Share Posted May 8, 2004 I swear, the last week before a cruise seems to never move. Then you fly to the port & get onboard, unpack, have dinner, run around the ship, see a show, maybe $20 inthe casino, then to bed & they are announcing it is time to disembark (and that was a 2 weeks cruise). SO UNFAIR! That the cruise flies by but getting on it takes a lifetime......... My logo: When we disembark, I just have to book another!

Rare Lois R Posted May 8, 2004 #31 Share Posted May 8, 2004 Terri, I keep thinking about that....I am sailing in Sept (same day as your cruise) but have nothing booked after that one.....I keep going over that in my mind...over and over Should I try and find something now for the "one after September"?....or just wait until I sail? teedee Posted May 8, 2004 #32 Share Posted May 8, 2004 Lois - I used to be happy having one cruise booked, but now that I'm truely addicted that doesn't seem to be enough! I'm currently waiting for Celebrity to come out with summer prices for next year. My daughter and son in law want us all to go on a cruise. Guess which one I'm going to book? theawesome1 Posted May 8, 2004 #33 Share Posted May 8, 2004 I agree Terri, that I have to have another cruise booked onboard for the shipboard credit as well as the look forward time....... Rustynail Posted May 10, 2004 #36 Share Posted May 10, 2004 Lois, you should hook up with Terri on a Century cruise. Terri was on my ship and was so much fun and the nicest person you'd ever want to meet. She even brought all the CC folks on our Role Call thread a gift from her home state. Yummy by the way. You both love to cruise and love the ship so you'd have a great time together. teedee Posted May 10, 2004 #37 Share Posted May 10, 2004 That's really nice of you to say Dan. Lois - Yes I'm definitely going next year. My daughter and son in law want to go, after hearing me talk about it so much. I'm waiting for the prices for next year to come out. We're either go in the summer or fall, depending on their schedules. I don't seem to be able to go a year without sailing on her! marco Posted May 10, 2004 #38 Share Posted May 10, 2004 Easy.....whenever you look at the clock and notice the time, say...next week at 10 AM I will be........, next week at 1PM, I will be...........and so on and so on. Always works for me, and when you get home this evening, you will HAVE TO practice having a "smart cocktail" before dinner!!
