Price Drop Question

I decided to see if a relatively well known online cruise outlet had a better price on a cruise I have booked in January and they are about $50 cheaper at the moment for the same date, same ship, same category.

Does Carnival honor price protection on Early Saver when a third party seller has a better rate?

I already submitted the price protection form and have my fingers crossed. ;)

Keep on mind too that some of the travel sights show you a lower price right untill the last page before you book, then they throw in the taxes and port charges. I found one that I thought was cheaper untill that last page, then it came out to be the exact same price as on the Carnival website.
