melli_fera Posted June 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2012 I decided to see if a relatively well known online cruise outlet had a better price on a cruise I have booked in January and they are about $50 cheaper at the moment for the same date, same ship, same category. Does Carnival honor price protection on Early Saver when a third party seller has a better rate? I already submitted the price protection form and have my fingers crossed. ;)

melli_fera Posted June 25, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Ugh, I just realized that I looked at the wrong date. :o Oops. No drop today for me! :(
HelliCap Posted June 25, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Keep on mind too that some of the travel sights show you a lower price right untill the last page before you book, then they throw in the taxes and port charges. I found one that I thought was cheaper untill that last page, then it came out to be the exact same price as on the Carnival website.
Rare mizLORInj Posted June 25, 2012 #5 Share Posted June 25, 2012 When we saw a price drop on Carnival.com, we called (emailed) our TA and we received the price drop revision shortly thereafter. Keep checking; maybe another day the drop will be on the date you're sailing!
