Hello all, just wondering what time check in is open at Brisbane Terminal for Pacific Dawn and does it have a priority line for suites, if so is it easy to find?. Also does anyone know if the Restaurant is open for lunch on embarkation day as opposed to the buffet option or room service dining?. Many thanks brand new to this forum.;)

We are cruising on the Pacific Dawn in three weeks. I understand you can drop off luggage and check in from 8am-8.30am and that suites have priority boarding but what happens for those of us who are in the other cabins? Is boarding determined by deck or check in time?

Thanks,

Leigh

You can drop off luggage from around 7am and check-in opens later (probably 8 - 8.30 as has been said). Boarding doesn't usually start until 10.45am. Suites have priority.

For the question on how to find the priority boarding queue - it is to the left of the general boarding queue. After the priority boarding, everyone else boards according to their group number given when they checked in (not by deck).

The dining room has always been open on our cruises, but only until 1.30pm. Have a fantastic cruise. :)

How does boarding for suites and disembarking work

I thought on pacific dawn all room service was charged

How much water do you get? Or should I bring extra on board

There is a separate line for checking in for people booked in suites. When boarding starts they go first. There is a charge for room service on P&O. If you want bottled water on board you have to buy it, but why? We have always drunk the water from the bathroom tap, the water served in the dining room or water available in the water dispenser in the buffet. You can buy a couple of bottles to take ashore with you or take empty water containers from home and fill them on the ship before going ashore.

We are in a suite and in the package it says that water is part of it. I'm pretty fussy about water normally I like lime cordial in it if it has a strange taste

The P&O site says the suites get the following

Invitation to Senior Officers' private cocktail party

Preferred dining arrangements

Preferred spa arrangements

Personalised stationery

Massage shower head

Fully loaded iPod music system

Nespresso coffee machine

Glass of wine on cocktail nights

Complimentary laundry service

Complimentary bottled water

Preferred check-in and disembarkation

Upgraded bathroom amenities

Bathrobe and slippers

Pillow concierge

Fresh flowers

Fresh fruit

Canapés – cocktail nights only

Cold weather blanket for balcony lounges

Daily satellite newspaper

Turndown service
