Carnival Magic - tenders

Anyone just off the Magic who can tell me how easy it is to get into Grand Cayman on the tenders if you aren't booked on an excursion? I saw a review that said someone was unable to get off of the ship before 10am - we get there at 7am so I really hope that's not true....we prefer to do things on our own, but I don't want to be stuck on the ship since we've never been to GC before....

Ive waited 30 minutes or so after they start the tenders and never once had a problem.

 

Never waited more than 15 minutes to get onboard a tender... and Ive been there numerous times.

 

let those in a huge hurry get off, and then walk down, np

 

way before 10 am.. nonsense.

The actual tender is 5 minutes or so, but allow 45 or so minutes to get ashore.

 

Grand Cayman has some huge tenders and it takes a while to load and unload them.
