Drinking the water in FP

I have read somewhere???? not to drink the water in FP. I am mainly concerned about the hotels. I would think that the hotel water would be OK. They don't want a bunch of tourists getting sick. Just wondering. Thanks

I have been many times to FP and have drunk the water in the hotels and had many drinks with ice - with no problems. I think you would be fine I usually get affected very quickly. Mexico always gets me.

I had no problems with the water at the Beachcomber, in town or on any of the stops during the cruise. In Mexico...even the rain water makes me ill.....so dont worry.

I will say the sea water has a salty taste to it......is it suppose to? LOL
