SASA13 Posted July 30, 2012 #26 Share Posted July 30, 2012 We always use the provided body wash and shampoo. I do bring conditioner and two small bars of soap.
shepherdqueen Posted July 30, 2012 #27 Share Posted July 30, 2012 We have used the products provided, but I do bring a separate conditioner. When there was no lotion provided on our last cruise, I left a note for our steward and it was there when we returned to the cabin.
LifeNJ Posted July 30, 2012 #28 Share Posted July 30, 2012 I use the stuff in the dispensers for body wash. I bring my own conditioner (and bar soap for the Hubby). Actually I don't bring it - I buy it at a local store the day before to bring on and leave the left overs to save weight when flying. Next trip out of NY - I don't know about drugstores locally there - but I would like to know. It was easy cruising from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and San Juan to pick up things you don't want to fly with.. There are plenty of Duane Reeds, CVs stores in NYC.
McDebbie Posted July 31, 2012 #29 Share Posted July 31, 2012 Use what is there but bring my own conditioner and body lotion. Unless you are really picky or allergic they work fine, save the packing weight and put in another pair of shoes. ;)
kylenyc Posted July 31, 2012 #30 Share Posted July 31, 2012 I'd bring my own because if you don't like the ncl shampoo it will be pricey to buy it from the duty free shop and few choices. I keep the little bottles from hotels and fill them with my own shampoo. I don't care for the ncl shampoo. On the otherhand I have 5 bottles of $15 sunscreen from the dutyfree because I chronically forget to bring it. :D
