uShould I upgrade OV to obstructed view balcony $205pp

Got the upgrade call~OV Empress to Veranda obstructed view balcony for $205pp 5 day on the Fascination~yea or nay?

I would not. That would be $410. We paid a bit more than that for a 8C balcony 8 day cabin per person. Take that $410 and book your next cruise with it. Or use it to have a great time on this cruise. Your not in your cabin much anyways.

Save the money and put it toward a balcony on a 7 day itinerary.

I wouldn't do it, especially for an obstructed view balcony. If it was unobstructed view I might consider it but probably wouldn't take it even then. Nancy

My DH said that would interfere with his 'bucket of beer" quota so we said "no thanks" but excited for the opportunity!

Just as a point of reference for you- We are sailing on the Fascination and got an upgrade call last night- Balcony room to Grand Suite and we only paid $360 total for the upgrade (there are 4 of us).

 

But having said they, I do know how exciting the upsell call is!
