NCL Sky Toga Party

HI,

I noticed on the Sky dailies there is a toga party one night.

 

Has anyone ever gone to the toga party?

If so, do people actually wear toga costumes?

 

I love to play dress up, but I don't want to feel like a fool in a toga if no one else really wears one. :o

At the toga party they usually have staff toga-ing people as they arrive. No need to strip your bed.

I actually have 2 toga costumes that I wore to 2 Caribbean resort parties.

I think I will probably leave them at home and maybe just bring a white dress...

We've never found a toga party on any of our NCL cruises? Is this ship specific, only on the Sky? We've been to many White Hot Parties! Not toga though.:confused:

I didn't notice a toga party on the Sky in July. Wonder when/where/if it took place.

I've never been on the Sky but have had toga parties on two different Jewel-NY to Bahamas/FL cruises.

The TOGA party usually happens on the last night after the Adult Scavenger Hunt. Since it starts so late around 11pm that's why most people never heard about it.

 

I didn't see it in the other ships though

OK, that makes sense now. Sky on a 4 night cruise. I see it at 12:15 am on last night. Pretty sure I've never noticed it on a 7 or more day cruise. Thanks.

We had a toga party on the first night of our Pearl cruise a couple years ago. Had a great time. All my family except my grandma joined in.

I just got off the Sky Monday and no toga party on Sunday night.

 

11:00pm-1:00am Last Dance Beneath the Stars (Poolside)

11:30pm The Quest Game Shot (18+) (Dazzles)

12:15am Dancing through the Decades (Dazzles)

1:00am Late Night Party Zone (Dazzles)

 

Maybe they only do the toga party when school in session so no kids will be harmed by stampeding half-naked adults in flip flops :rolleyes:

They had a toga party in April this year. I was on the weekday Sky cruise. I didn't attend but it was advertised and they said the first 50 people got a toga.(i think)

 

Maybe it's just with the extra day that they do it? When I went a year ago they did not have it.
