KruznKel Posted May 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2005 As long as he has proof that he is a marine.. I think the discount is approx. $300.. but I sure you will get more throught answers from actual cruisers that have gotten the discount...

sea_u_onboard Posted May 16, 2005 #6 Share Posted May 16, 2005 Actually the discount is more like $200 per person. It really depends on the sailing, and the ship. Discounts are not given on every cruise or in every category. If you know what dates you would liel to go it is best to conatct Carnival (or an agent) and let them mcheck into it for you. As far as him only being 20 - Carnival has relaxed the rules concerning 1 cabin and it has to be the cabin with the service member. I don't remember EXACTLY want it is - BUT - I do think he will be OK. As I said previoslu - it would be best to call Carnival directly. Since he is Active he will also be allowed to offer the same discount to an immediate family memebr for the same sailing. Plus he would be eligible for a reduced rate (not the same discount) on up to 2 more cabins with the "Friends and Family" program. The immediate family would have to be brother, sister, mother, father - while the other 2 can be anyone. The age restrictions do apply to all the other cabins.
