Rare chasinraynbowz Posted August 30, 2012 #26 Share Posted August 30, 2012 FWIW you can also put cash in your account as you are checking in and do not have to do this only atcustomer service. in 2011 Miami had a designated station for this during checkin, but in Galveston 2012 any terminal could do it. Not all ports allow you to do that. In New Orleans, we had to board the ship and go to Guest Services. They would not take our money when we were checking in, nor did they have a kiosk. ccruisequeen Posted August 30, 2012 #27 Share Posted August 30, 2012 I thought my parents had set up my SS card on their credit card but they cancelled and I went alone. Therefore there was No money on my SS card until the third night when I got a message from GS. I put $100 cash down which covered my tips and a few sodas and souvenier cups. I got the rest back in a check. Luckily I brought along extra casino money to cover it!
QTPieRye Posted August 30, 2012 #28 Share Posted August 30, 2012 Out of curiosity, does anyone know which ships have the S&S kiosks??? The ships don't have the kiosks, the ports do :) I am also trying to figure out which ports have the kiosks, specifically Long Beach.

There were sail and sign Kiosks onboard Carnival Fantasy. It was a quick and easy way to check our S&S balance throughout the cruise without having to go to Guest Services since Fantasy doesnt have the ability to check your folio on the television set. It was midship on the same level as the casino right by the stairs that go up to lido. I have a picture of it but I cant access it at work. bigd332 Posted August 30, 2012 #33 Share Posted August 30, 2012 If you plan to go the cash route do you have to put a credit card number in the online check in form. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
