csquared Posted May 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2005 Has anyone stayed here? I have looked at their site but I was wanting to see other pictures. I think this is where we are going to stay the night before.
karessamom Posted May 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2005 I haven't seen too many pics either, but we have reservations on Aug. 6 for our Aug. 7th cruise. Sounds kind of quaint to me. I am very excited :D
Ka Honu Posted May 19, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 19, 2005 I'm told I stayed there for a four-day party in '96 but THERE ARE NO PICTURES so I'll continue to deny it. Seriously, it was a decent place then; I've been by it as recently as last month (without going inside) and it still seemed okay. The bad news is that Uglesich's, one of the best lunch places in New Orleans and just a few blocks from the hotel, closed at the end of April. csquared Posted May 19, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted May 19, 2005 I guess I will just have to wait for myself. I think it will be okay. Thanks for your input, I really do appreciate it. I will post a review of my stay when I get back. And I will make sure and take pictures. :D
texas transplants Posted May 23, 2005 #5 Share Posted May 23, 2005 We stayed there last November. I don't know if I would call it quaint. It was nice. Clean, great staff, right on the street car line. Part of the hotel consists of antebellum houses. A local couple held their wedding in the courtyard while we were there. It was beautiful. A nighttime wedding lit with candles. I think the fairy lights in all the trees stay up all year round. Dawn
