Deluxe sail, snorkel& beach party experience

We are signed up for the deluxe sail, snorkel & beach party in Cozumel Mexico. Does ANYONE have any experience with this excursion?

I went on something called the Fiesta Party Boat years ago which included the beach and snorkeling, but it was really all about the party. After a long boat drive, they took us to a beach with rough waves and dropped us off for an hour with snorkel gear if we wanted it. There was no instruction or direction where to find the reef or underwater statues that I heard were there later. It seemed to just be a sandy bottom to me and I didn't want to fight the waves to try to find something better when I didn't even know what I was looking for. The whole way back was unlimited rum punch and games. That was fun but I was disappointed in the snorkeling part of this excursion. I would have preferred a snorkel that dropped you off in the water over the reef. Hopefully this excursion is much better than the one I did.

They pick us up on a catamaran at the elation we go on a 49 boat ride to paradise reef stay 45 min then go to a private beach where they have big slides and things in water for kids
