Flying Rum Runners

Has anyone flown with filled RR's in checked bags, and did TSA take them out or leave them alone ?

Had 4 in my cases that went in to the hold - no problems

TSA doesn't care about liquids in checked bags....only in your carry-ons!

I have not flown with Rum Runners already filled. I took them with me empty and then filled them up at my port destination before boarding the ship. This just so happened to be Barcelona. I just went to a local liqour store. That way I didn't have to worry about flying with them filled and spilling liquid in my checked luggage.

i got my rr,s on board ship. and travelled back to the uk with them refilled , no problems;)

I checked 2 full 32 ounce rum runners on a flight to Barcelona from Boston - no problem!!

you can have liquor in your checked bag. you can have rum runners in your bag. TSA won't bother with that.
