2013 Tattoo - Seating Plan and Prices

to get a glimpse of the entry to the arena. Everyone enters from the street just like in the video and goes under the stands 8 and 9 and then walks in either direction to the various entries in the middle of each section. The entries to sections 8 and 9 are the CLOSEST to the EXIT to the street. The entrance at section 8 is where the performers enter and exit at that end of the arena.

If you want to get out quickest - sit in the lower part of the sections near the exits, and the fastest out would be in Section 8 and 9.

We had the pleasure of attending the Edinburgh Military Tattoo this year with about 50 members of the Caribbean Princess CC Roll Call Group. We organized the group so that most of us purchased early tickets as Friends of the Tattoo and requested the Tattoo Office to sit us all together in Sections 8 and 9. We were able get seats mid-way up and they were perfect for seeing an overview of the performers. DOWNSIDE - most of the performers stayed in the middle of the arena between sections 3-4 and 13 - 14.

If you want to really see the performers up close, and be able to get out of the stadium before the masses - sit in the lower level seats of sections 3-4, and 13-14. If you attend the 7:30 performance, sit ONLY in sections 2 to 5 so the sun is to your back, if you are fortunate like we were. In section 9 we had the sun in our face and was difficult to see and get good photos.

Our Edinburgh Tattoo and Supper - Aug 18, 2012 SmugMug Gallery has photos of the performance that we took from sections 9, row L and Section 5, row FF (nosebleed seats). We also have some photos of our Hub Cafe supper which was very good and allowed us to easily merge into the massive Que to the Tattoo. Highly suggest you consider this as a pre-tattoo supper spot.

Also suggest you do the full day Timberbush Tour similar to one that we organized. I was a great tour, excellent guides, and very helpful in organizing the tour before hand.

Feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
