Good beach for toddler?

I was almost set on Playa Uvas as they mention catering to vegetarians right on their website, until I read that the beach is quite rocky and the sand is gravel. Doesn't sound like a great place to take a baby to relax on the beach.

So I'm looking for advice. We'll be in on a RC cruise in early December and want to relax at the beach with the baby. Vegetarian options are a huge plus for us, but if they don't offer it we'll head back to the pier to eat.

Thanks for the advice.

Paradise beach is very family friendly - nice beach, no admission fee ($2 to rent chairs), good food and drinks, huge pool, and updated changing facilities and lockers. About a $15 cab ride from the pier. Good luck! :)
