Haven Lounge

I read somewhere on CC that if you book a spa or better suite, you can have access to the a Haven Lounge. Is this true?

Yes and No :) First, this only applies if you're on a ship that has The Haven. Second, you need to book a suite with a "Haven" designation. There are suites outside the Haven that have access, but not all do.

Hope this helps!

We are sailing on the EPIC in a "Haven" Spa Suite which is NOT located in the Haven Complex but on deck 14 near the Spa. We get all the Suite Life perks of the Haven Complex such as Private Dining, Private Lounge, POSH Beach Club as well as a Butler and Concierge Services. However, with our Suite, we are the only ones in the Haven that get Complimentary full use of the Spa Facilities ($199-$250 extra depending on the sailing) included with OUR passage fare. That is the best deal of all.

Oh, and once you have traveled in a Suite on NCL, there is no going back! It's unlike any other comparable Cruise Line (Carnival/MSC/Princess/HAL/RCCL) IMHO, Celebrity and Cunard Suites are comparable with service and luxury perks.

Happy Sailing!

Oh My Heaven's Yes! And they get you started eating right at check in with a little mini buffet of finger sandwiches and danish and beverages.

Once you arrive at the terminal, you are directed to a Living Room to check in, think Bank Lobby-ish. Then you are called to a desk, where they check you in using your credit card, passport, take your picture for the ID, and issue you your room key cards.

Magically, a Butler appears with white gloves on, and, if it's early and they are not boarding the ship yet, you will be escorted to the Priority Boarding Area. If they are boarding (or when it comes time to board the ship), you will board with the Butler and be taken either directly to Cagney's or La Cuccina for a gorgeous luncheon (Non EPIC Ships) or if you are sailing on the EPIC, they will escort you to the Haven Complex where you receive a complete tour and then have lunch at the Haven Private Dining Room.

The Concierge arranges priority dining arrangements, priority disembarkation, which means you show up on the last day for coffee in one of the lounges and the Concierge will directly escort you off the ship to US Customs with no waiting in line. On port days, you get priority tender or walk off privileges with out waiting in any lines as well. Not to worry about advance reservations for the shows on the EPIC, there is always room for Suite Guests thru the Concierge. Pure Bliss!

It's a grand life for the time you are on board, but sadly, when it all comes to an end and you get home, you realize you cannot pick up the phone and call the Concierge for dinner reservations or your Butler for some chocolate dipped strawberries.....:D

But then you just have to book your next cruise with your Future Cruise Certificates you bought on board.
