Epic Miami Embarkation Time

Hi All,

in April, we got to the Dock around 11am, as I had read on here that was the earliest embarkation time available. However, by that time, a lot of people had already showed up and we were in group 7.

By the time we got to the reservation desk, the chef's table was full. How early can we show up and get on the ship? I'd like to get there as early as possible to try to get spots at the Chef's table.

Thanks,

Chilly

We arrived at the terminal at 10:15 AM and were told to line up as the doors were locked. After a short wait outside, the Security Personnel distributed the Health Questionnaire to us outside while we waited. At about 10:30 the doors were opened and they began to let us in to the check in area. After we checked in, we went to the seating lounge area for about 10 minutes, then the CSR's began to call everyone by group number. We were on first and were able to make reservations for the Chef's Table. It's odd that they told you that it was sold out, because on our cruise, it was so popular that they ended up doing two CT's. They just took a wait list and if they got 12 people then they scheduled it, so they obviously got enough people to offer the second.

Also don't forget about POSH passes, they limit those to about 20 per cruise and then make a bee line to the spa for the Spa Pass for the week, those also are hard to get. Depending on the sailing date, they run (from what has been reported on the boards) anywhere from $199-$250 for the week per couple.

That's why we booked a Spa Suite, as it included the Spa Facilities for the week with the price of our Stateroom.
