Check-in at Miami Airport-need feedback

Ok- they opened up the Miami Airport Carnival checkin last month and was curious how it is. Did it save you time, was it easier? Less lines? Please tell all. I arrive in MIA 11/8 at 10:40am (I know- I should have flown in the night before but just wasn't possible) and sailing on the Destiny, so wondering if I should just grab the cab and go to the port, or check in at the airport?

I would say just check in at the airport since your already there!

This is what I will be doing for our upcoming cruise!

Silly question, can you only check in at the airport the day of the cruise? So if we are dropping a car off the two days before the cruise that check in isn't available, correct?

Yes, my understanding is that check-in is for same-day cruises

Correct!

You can only check in for your cruise at MIA on the day of your cruise.

I'm curious - we're sailing on the Glory on November 18 and actually driving in from Orlando and parking our car near the Port. Think that we could still check in at MIA even though we're driving in and not flying in? I would love to be able to check in at the airport and zip on through once we arrive at the port.

I'm guessing not since the check in locations are in the concourses at the airport (only passengers flying in will have access to them).

We have used it and it was great. Way easier and faster then checking in at the port. Anyone can use it because it is located at baggage claim which is a public area. We flew in at 10 am and were onboard by noon. Let me know if you have more questions

I just purchased the FTTF and one of my main reasons was for check in and boarding (definitely not my only reason though) I arrive at 11am Miami the day of cruise departure. Is this a special carnival terminal? Easy to find? I am wondering if my FTTF would give me priority there and then with the transfer. Would you happen to know?

Great to know! I will be flying in the day of the cruise. flight schedule to arrive at 6:40 AM. By the time I get my luggage and all that stuff, I think the terminal to check in should be open. Works out great then!

We're getting on the Liberty as you're getting off :( Keep her in great shape for us!

Have a great B2B cruise - definitely on my bucket list - and the Liberty is awesome!
