 Good luck finding your way around the Triumph, we found it to be confusing, because I think only 1 floor cuts thru... you have to go around alot... but atleast you get exercise and get to see the whole boat.... have fun...:)

Well as much as I plan on eating, I'll need the exercise!

Question...many in our group have cabins mid to aft on the upper deck, and we have 5:45 seating for dinner. I think I read where we should use the aft elevators to get to the diningroom, because it is less crowded. Is that the easiest? And what deck do we want? FIVE?

If you're taking the aft elevators, you want to go down to 3 or 4, depending on your table assignment. If you're taking any other elevator, you will want to go to ANY OTHER DECK, 5 being the nicest stroll. I used to go down to 2 to avoid crowds. Our room was by the atrium on deck 6, so most of the time we would walk down to five, stroll, and then either take the aft elevator down, or the aft stairs.

This is true for the Paris Dining Room, which is aft.

If you are in the London Dining Room you can take the aft elevators to Deck 4 and then go into the Oxford Lounge, walk through the internet area and voila....the London DIning Room :)

I am a stairs person on a cruise and always walk....great way to burn off a bit of that food and also a fun way to see the ship and meet lots of people as you stroll!

OK....here is the nitty gritty.......Deck 5 (Promenade) is "the" deck that you can walk all the way forward (Rome Lounge) straight through (passing the shops, Casino, Disco etc) all the way aft (Club Rio).

From Deck 5:

IF you are dining in the London Dining Room......you can enter right in the main atrium area by going down the "fancy stairs" OR you can walk aft and follow as I described above.

if you are in the Paris Dining Room you need to go aft on deck 5 and then go down to either deck 3 or 4

It is not hard once you get the pattern!! I have been on the Triumph 2 times. The first time I ate in the Paris and the second I was in the London. I had a nice little pattern each time of how I walked and where I stopped along the way for entertainment and a drink.

You will have a great time!

Chocolate covered strawberries???? You mean they have these on the ship?? I'm assuming you BUY them in the cafe?

One of my favorites!! YOU HAD TO TELL ME!

Oh yes!!!! They are quite yummy!!

The Vienna Cafe is on the Promenade and has a whole host of delicious treats! Everything here is for an additional cost.....but well worth it in my opinion!

Enjoy!

Isn't there a diagram of the ship near the elevators? Whatever way the ship is heading will direct you to forward or aft.

This thread is really helping me! Thanks so much for the tips and which way to get from one place to another. I appreciate it!

I decided to make up a little cheat cheat for everyone in our group.

I typed up the Deck numbers and names and listed ONLY the decks where the action is.

I sized it down to a credit card size, and printed if off.

Then used clear mailing tape as a make shift laminate, and made pocket sized "credit cards" for everyone in our group! I think this might work!

If anyone would like me to email the "cheat cheat" to them, post your addy! Then you can make your own credit cards :-)

Thanks for my cheat sheet - I have shared it with all our Roll Call members! Thanks again.

Well I hope it helps out! I won't find out until we use it at the end of the month.

If I've sent it to someone here who is sailing before my group, could you let us know if this was helpful? Thanks a bunch!
