Hate to put a normal deposit for a 2014 cruise.

They're normally held in the spring and the fall. The next one will be around March/April.

I just missed the last WOW when we decided to book our next cruise. I went to the website and just held the room we wanted. RC called me and asked what they could do to get me to book. I told them I was going to wait until the next WOW sail.

 

The agent couldn't lower the deposit due, which wasn't a big deal as I knew I'd have to spend the money eventually, but he did knock money off the room price and also gave us two bottles of wine. These two perks got us to almost what I would have gotten as on board credit with the WOW sale and we got the room we wanted.

 

So if you don't want to wait until the spring, give RC a call and see if they will make you a deal. It doesn't hurt to ask.
