valleyvillage Posted November 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2012 On my first cruises I was a devoted omnivore but I have gone VEGAN and now I'm flirting with RAW. :D:eek::) Yeah, I know. It is interesting to me that now I think about upcoming cruises differently! The sea, the ambiance, the people, the whole cruise experience, not the food. Has anyone gone RAW on a cruise? I know there are lots of lovely fresh fruits and vegetables.

cruisewmn Posted November 30, 2012 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2012 I'm NOT Vegan, but I eat that way sometimes because I'm dairy free (allergy) and it's safe. The buffet has a wonderful salad bar with a wide variety of veggies. There was a delicious cold lentil salad. Moderno has a salad bar with great raw salads and rice filled grape leaves. Garbanzo beans for protein. Perhaps the chef will make special meals for you if you notify them in advance. Hope this helps.
