Allure B2B cruiser questions...

Hi all,

Looking forward to our first B2B cruise in the Caribbean on Allure this Spring. I have a few questions. We are lucky to have booked early enough to stay in the same cabin...

1) Do they make everyone get off and get back on during turn around day? Do we have to do anything special or just walk off and get back on as a group? In LA, they actually made us walk around the parking lot before getting back on, which was a huge problem for elderly passengers...

2) Are the comedians the same both weeks or do they bring on new acts?

3) Any other tips for B2B cruising? Thoughts on booking shows or spreading out specialty restaurant ressies, etc?

Our kids will be joining us on the 2nd week of the trip.

Thank you,

Kath

On ours last year, we had a meeting the day before to advise what would happen. In this meeting it also gave you opportunity to make any advance reservations for the following week for shows or restaurants etc. On the day, we all met at the designated spot, and were escorted off to walk through customs and turn around and come back. Then we sat in a waiting area whilst we got our new sea pass cards, then we were escorted back on. We got back on by about 1030-1100, so not long before the new passengers were boarding.

2) Are the comedians the same both weeks or do they bring on new acts?

Its different comedians on each week of the B2B.

3) Any other tips for B2B cruising? Thoughts on booking shows or spreading out specialty restaurant ressies, etc?

It's really up to you. Our take on it was to try and get as much of the shows and restaurants into the first week so we could revisit favourites in the second week. You may find yourself wanting to visit a speciality again, or see a partular show again.

Our kids will be joining us on the 2nd week of the trip.

Thank you,

Kath

Enjoy, you'll have a great time.

The comedians do NOT change every week. You MAY happen to be on a week when it is someone's last week, or you may not. Luck of the draw.

Perhaps it was a changeover when we cruised then. I just assumed they alternated each week.
