joeyancho Posted December 16, 2012 #26 Share Posted December 16, 2012 We sailed after the 2.0 upgrades. The ship is very nice. The food was good. Service was good as always. Our room and much of the ship had new carpeting. Guy's burgers wer good, not great but good. In-and -Out has nothing to worry about. The Blue Iguana Burrito Bar was okay. They don't have corn tortillas which makes making tacos difficult. The fish and chips was massively greasy, the oysters were cooked to death. MDR food was consistantly good. The service team consists of 3 people who are rushed to do their job. However they did their job well. The steak house was very good as always. But the best part about sailing the Conquest is that it leaves from New Orleans, which is a great city. We enjoyed our 3 days there prior to the cruise. slybear Posted December 16, 2012 #28 Share Posted December 16, 2012 We enjoyed the Conquest post 2.0 so much so I booked another cruise on her for Halloween 2013. I should have just booked onboard to get the $100 obc. Oh well the prices are good this far out. Crew was great & we too enjoyed the guys burgers. Queenie cant wait to cruise again & we may just have to take an April cruise too.
BeeBeeCee Posted December 16, 2012 #29 Share Posted December 16, 2012 We sailed on the Conquest for the Sep 30th cruise and then again after the upgrades on the Dec 2nd sailing. Both cruises were great. We all really loved the new burgers and fries. :D Also, we went to the steakhouse on both cruises and it was fabulous both times.
