Conquest Experiences?

We are looking at the Conquest for late next year. Does anyone have any experiences with this ship they could share? Particularly interested in hearing from people who have sailed since the 2.0 upgrades were installed, but if you have anything to share prior to that, I would love to hear it as well. Just did a B2B after the upgrades this month. No major complaints here and we are going back for another week next month.

Food and service were excellent.

Love all of the Fun Ship 2.0 upgrades. Carnival hit a home run with Guy's Burger Joint.

There is no additional charge for the burgers.........AND they ARE GOOD!. One of my down-falls was eating too many of them:D

WE have sailed on her twice,about 14 months ago,I Thought it was a nice ship,got good service,food was good,our room steward did a great job,you should have a good trip.;):p

Also no charge for the new pizza, the Blue Iguana Cantina (even open for breakfast), Fish and Chips (okay, not part of 2.0), the Taste Bar, Punchliner Brunch, ....

Was on the Conquest over Thanksgiving. 22nd cruise on Carnival and absolutely loved this ship. Crew was the friendliest and the casino was the most generous!!! Loved the fries at Guy's!!

Free?? OMG! I wonder if you can go back for seconds and thirds here too?

I never could finish firsts. I took off the bun in order to finish the hamburger and never quite finished the fries (which were soooooooooo good).

Its really good and once opened, almost never any line. Very fast service.

Best thing on the ship. New blue rocking chairs to watch the big screen were nice too.

Absolutely. And there is almost never a line - they are very efficient. For that matter, you can get two (maybe more) at a time. :)

Remember you will be eating breakfast late if you go to the new BRUNCH which doesnt start until 10 am. .. and dont forget the chocolate buffet at lunch the last seaday. And you will need to sample the new pizza and the tasting bar opens at 5:30 pm.

And the burgers are open until late afternoon.

Sounds like I am going to gain some weight on this cruise...

It's OK - I ordered some pants and they just came in...

They are too big...

Need to put on some pounds so I fit into them! Lol!

Must maintain puffiness!

The burgers really aren't large and are really, really good. Lots of options to add at the fixins area. Probably about a billion combinations you can try.

A guys burger with bacon, fried onions and fried mushrooms with some donkey sauce.That was my burger of choice lol

The tacos and burritos were awesome too

It's basically mayo plus some other tasty stuff added

One recipe

For Guy’s Donkey Sauce:
1/4 cup minced roast garlic (use a little less if not using pre-prepared roasted garlic as it is stronger in flavor and less subtle than fresh)
1 cup prepared mayonnaise (e.g. Hellmann's)
4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon regular hot dog mustard
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
4 pinches ground black pepper

Kinda salty, but REALLY good.

It's best super fresh, so look for some in Cozumel.

Be sure to try the chipotle mayo, too. Adds a nice smoky zing.
