Tips & Tipping QM2

The onboard currency on QM2--no matter where she is sailing--is US Dollars. But you are free to tip in any currency; crew members will have no problem spending or exchanging the local dollars.

I do not know if Cunard has joined the other Carnival PLC-owned lines in adding gratuities into the cruise fare of Aus and NZ residents. (Your booking agent certainly would know). If they have not, you will be participating in the auto-tipping scheme where a daily hotel charge is added to your shipboard account--far easier than handing out cash.

There are plenty of regular posters from Australia on the Cunard board. Click here to head there. You will find much helpful information about Queens Grill.

The QM2 is a fabulous ship. Enjoy your voyage!
