Private sundeck - Spirit, penhouse suite

We will be travelling on the spirit very soon in a penthouse suite. It state on the NCL website that one of the benefits is access to a private sundeck. It makes seperate mention of the Courtyard facilities available on Epic. Can anyone please confirm if this is still correct. Thank you in advance.

As far as I know, the private sundecks are only available adjacent or as part of the Haven (previously Courtyard) and the older ships in the fleet do now have one, sorry. And if one existed, the suite must have access to the Haven (usually suite categories with a number in them), not all suites do.

No private sun deck in on the spirit.

 

I should also warn you that unless you have an aft or forward penthouse the balcony is small. It's the smaller then the one standard balcony cabin on newer ships.

The aft SF suites on the Star and Dawn have incredible privacy on decks 8 and 9. Had we had sailed with those 35+ years ago we would have been charged with damage to a lounger or two. Unfortunately "sea air induced" " and common "mattress polo" if more difficult yet possible on the BA etc. balcony rooms. If you aren't "affected" then you are traveling with the wrong cruise companion or belong on HAL.
