dustyroad Posted May 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2004 i am way to chicken to use their ''name your own price'' for a flight, but their set prices with the airlines shown seem to be pretty good. has anyone had any problems with priceline tickets this way. do they change your times or flights very much or would that be totally up too the airlines once the ticket is booked. i buy plane tickets only about once every yr 1/2 to 2 yrs so i really am out of the loop on the way they do things. and i will buying my tickets far in advance to get a set price because of the fuel costs. thanks for any help. serene56 Posted May 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2004 Dusty: I dont see where Priceline is that much off rom online agencies for flights. Are you checking whats available? travelocity.com has a fare tracker located on their main page and lets you know when fares are being lowered or are on the rise. I also check orbitz, expedia, cheaptickets or cheap fares. Found round trip from Phila to Tampa for Feb 2005 for 123pp and that price included all taxes and services fees. Since the day I got the tickets I have not seen it lower Going NOWHERE Miracle, February 13, 2005 Legend, October 22,2004 Voyager August 31,2003 Victory September 22,2002 Regal Empress,June 2001 Sensation,August 2000
