8.5 yo DS in the Kids Club - how to increase the odds

We didn't have a lot of luck getting him to like the Kids Clubs on HAL or Princess. Any suggestions? We also have a 5 yo DD who is very social but it sounds like they won't be together. Give me hope that we can get away from the kids.

Be sure to take him to the Open House the first day. That way all of you can check out the facility. DCL also has Open Houses daily in the kids club where you can accompany you child there, giving him another opportunity to familiarize himself with what's going on.

Oceaneers Club/Lab age group is 3-12, so they will be in the same club.
