Why was spirit in dock nov 12 - feb 13

Hi wondered if anyone can give me info on what was being done to the spirit during the above dates. We are think of booking for April - this would be first time on the spirit. Thanks. :)

Spirit not normally used in winter - each year there are questions, is Spirit having re-furb, the answer is, of course, always no.

Been on the Spirit twice and love the ship.

I've been on her too, fab ship, very very friendly crew, nice roomy cabins, wouldn't hesitate to book on her again :):):)

Thomson Spirit is chartered from Louis Cruises. They have the ship back in the winter, although very rarely use it.

the ship is gonna have a bit of painting and some new carpets, our cabin stewards said they were going on in jan to do some of the above

We are about 90 miles away from Harwich. We have sailed from their twice with R C.
