Cost of R/T taxi when it's only TWO passengers?

My husband and I are interested in going to West Bay Beach from Mahogany Bay - but I'm only seeing posts quotes for 4+ passengers. Has anyone taken a taxi either inside or outside the gates and let me know what they paid for round trip service for 2 people? Thanks!

Mahogany Bay is further than Coxen Hole.

Cab drivers set their own rates. No fixed rates for cruisers.

Rates vary like night to day.

 

If you've read thru threads here, you will understand why it is hard to give you a "normal" rate. Personally I'd be O.K. with $35 each way from there. I wouldn't worry so much about a per person rate. Just the total.

 

If you leave the fenced area, you will probably be able to say "no" a few times and hang around bargaining for a lower rate...if you want. Much too depends on how many cruisers are looking for rides. Supply and demand.

 

Make sure you set up a pick up time and place.

 

Another option is to buy a package thru Fosters or Banarama. Check out their websites.

It will be good for "shopping" for a better rate once you leave the Carnival compound.

Yeah, I doubt you will find anything less than $15 per person as the link above says.. and ya might have to work for that.
