bed extenders

At this point of our now, group cruise, we have 2 sil's that are tall, one about 6'5", the other just shy of that. How much more bed length would the bed extenders give these two wonderful men? Neither has be on a cruise yet and I am hoping that this will make it better for them.

I am 6ft 2inches and DH is 6 ft 4in. We have never needed the extenders as the regular beds are long enough (a little more width would be appreciated however as the skinny twins are narrower than a regular twin). Our son-in-law is 6 ft 7in. He used the extended on our cruise on 5/28/05. It worked well for him but does take away some of the walk space in the room. Our daughter who is also 6ft 2 in did not have an extender and that was fine.
