Wow Sale not so Wow

The cruise I booked stayed the same price that it has been for the last month. The sale is for reduced deposit and OBC.

It's not really a sale, there are no reduced prices. Just a reduced deposit and on board credit.

I dunno, I snagged FoS for less than normal pricing! Given the other perks associated with the WOW sale, I really feel like I got a deal!

The current sale this week with RCI is resulting in a 55+ discount worth approximately $300 that wasn't there last week on an upcoming cruise we are planning. I think it is just selective and not itinerary-wide and also may be reflected in discounts offered for residency, age, etc., which are not always present. So in that respect I guess it really isn't a "sale" but adding a qualification discount that wasn't there previously.

We got a great deal on a balcony thru an online cruises site that's "cheap" if you get my drift. ;) haha Like $300 off per person. I couldn't believe it plus $100 obc and the reduced deposit.:)

Thanks for the info everyone. I understand the sale now. Still does not offer any benefits to me because on my last cruise I booked an open date which gave me the same benefits of the sale. For instance, OBC and reduced deposit. You all are so helpful.
