Luquillo Beach

Has anyone been to Luquillo Beach? We will be in San Juan 1-6-2005 on The Brilliance Of The Seas. I would like to go to a beach. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Sounds interesting. How far is this beach from the pier? Is it included in any tours?

This is a great place. However, it's about an hour from Old San Juan. I understand it's one of the best beaches in San Juan. We were on a tour to the RainForest and the driver took us to the Beach. There was an older woman there making Pina Coladas. FANTASTIC. THe best I've ever had and still is the best. If you can get a tour or possibly a rental car, do go. Cab would be too costly.

Luquillo beach was my favorite beach on the island...highly recommend
