The Upgrade Fairy Visited!

So it may not be much but I believe it is something!!! We were booked in E516 on the Grand which was an Obstructed View and now are in P248. This new cabin is category "OC". Not certain what that means exactly but doesn't appear to be obstructed.:D

My parents will also be traveling with us and were also visited. They went from a forward interior cabin on Lido Deck (category IF) to a mid-ship interior on Caribe (category IB).

 Other than a more desirable mid-ship location, can anyone tell me the difference in the cabin categories? THANKS!!

The Plaza deck oceanview cabins are completely unobstructed. The location is great: just steps away from the Atrium, the IC, shops, etc. What I like about the location is that after a busy day onshore, you re-board and are right near your cabin if the ship is docked or just up a flight if the ship tenders.

Most insides are exactly alike with location being the primary difference. HC cabins are larger and inside cabins horizontal to the corridor have a different layout and appear larger. (Haven't been in one but have seen photos.)
