Artificial Sweetner?

Recommended Posts

I have seen some posts and "food porn" pictures of sugar free desserts. Usually sugar free means that they are adding some sort of artificial sweetener in the dessert.

Does anyone know what they are adding?

I have had bad interactions with Aspertame and need to steer clear of it.

TIA

Sorry, I don't know your answer, but FWIW: when you book your TA usually asks some health questions. I think you can list your allergies then. Ask your TA for sure. Aside from that, speak to your waiter, or even the head waiter to be certain you are not accidentally given something containing the Aspartane. The last thing he will want is a passenger having an anaphylactic reaction in the middle of the dining room.

I am not allergic and won't go into shock, but it may aggravate another condition I have.

If I take a bite and taste it then I won't eat it anymore.

One taste is not bad, but if I have a whole lot it can be.

Splenda is not my favorite...but it is better.

Thanks all

Thanks for the tip about the SF cake on the buffet. I like the SF orange and banana cakes in the MDR and now I have something to look forward to on the buffet at lunch. ;)
