Just got a call to upgrade from deck 8 Balcony (4 people ) to deck 7 Grand suite -- for $1260...

Well the actual difference on the site is $1440 it looks like. So $1260 isn't much of a 'deal'. You only 'save' $180 over what any other person could book. That's a $315 pp difference, and I know that in my family we could each spend $315 in much more fun ways! LOL

 

If they offered it for, say, $500 I might consider. But that's me.

I think you were smart. I got a similar offer from our aft wrap in Feb. for $1040 and declined.

Suites on Carnival aren't really worth much at all. I would have skipped it too.
