Has anyone experienced delays at Port Canaveral because of the sequester?

We got off Monarch yesterday and customs process was very quick for us.

No delays getting on either, except they would not let us bring on a case of water. The porters would not take it and we could not carry it on either. Maybe they were still in spring break mode.

The sequester/furlough doesn't start until April 23rd...any recent delays were due to cancellation of overtime. Furlough goes thru Sept. 30th.

Someone posted tonight that they got emails for Oasis/Allure april 6/7 pushing back check in time till 12:30 PM because of late debarking due to "budget" issues. We sail the following week and I'm not expecting the issues to be fixed by then:rolleyes:, so I just moved my Giovanni's lunch reservation till later- even with Diamond priority boarding I'm not expecting to be on by 12:30PM.:(

I did see the thread about the emails for Oasis etc, that is what prompted me to post.

 

We sail 4/21.

Oasis and Allure are bigger ships and out of FLL. So I don't really think any problems they are experiencing can necessarily be expected with Freedom out of Port Canaveral.
