inside guaranteed cabin

has anyone ever gotten an upper and lower level with an inside guaranteed cabin?

I just booked a guatentee a d was worried about getting an upper lower because when I did the online check in I seen it said GUAR 1A but I was assigned to a quad room. Room 299 on the elation.

 

Not the best cabin but still for the price I paid it was worth it.

 

I got my cabin assignment in about 6 hours.

I was told that if you book a guarantee inside, that you won't get upper/lower. I hope this is still true.

We booked an inside guarantee on the Ecstasy a few weeks ago. We got our assignment in under 24 hours.....Upper/Lower on Upper deck. My PVP warned me it could happen so I wasn't surprised. We are taking it in stride and figure the money we saved will cover our parking, our gratuities and a round of drinks. We are looking forward to our trip and actually think it's kind of funny.....best to you on your trip!

Booked Inside Guarantee on our January Conquest cruise. Did not get the assignment until about a week prior to sailing...queen inside on deck 8! Thank you Carnival!!
