Transportation to cruise port?

Does anyone have any tips on getting transportation to the NYC cruise terminal from NJ with kids? Taxi's will not offer car seats, etc. Any advice?

Book a limo or take the shuttle (bring your car seat).

If you want to drive you could try to take a test run a few weeks before your trip, and buy toys to keep your kids entertained.

The limo business is very competitive. Call around, ask if they have car seats for children. If not, take yours and ask if you can leave yours in their limo after your dropped off and have it ready for you again when your picked up. This used to work for us. We'd have to call around but eventually a limo firm would respond to our needs. Keep in mind, your not the only one in this situation and most limo firms will cater to your needs. ;)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I found someone with a Van and will use our car seats for the kids. Hope we all fit with all our stuff!
