GTY Assignment

I booked our cruise back in early March (for December sailing) on the Pearl. They had a sale where you get balcony GTY when you book the highest OV category as an upgrade. They have already assigned my room (Darn this forum making me ready to leave tomorrow, so I started going onto my NCL frequently to check.). I like the room they assigned, and am hopeful that they won't change it, but I'm not sure how it works since its a GTY. Can they still change it, or now that I've seen a room number can I count on that being our room? I searched the forums and can't seem to find a definite answer. Last year when we booked a GTY OV obstructed it was assigned a week before we sailed, and all our other rooms were ones we picked out so I'm new to the whole GTY deal. They CAN change it but usually don't

the common response here is that they can change it, and have been known to change it, but it is very rare
