Majesty - Promenade Deck

Is there anyone who has been in a catagory "CC" room on this deck. Would like to get opinions please.

Im new to cruising, but have read this deck is used all the time, deck 9 is the deck that people walk/run around, and Ive heard less privacy

I had cabin #737 and the joggers/walkers never phased us.....

 

I am pretty sure that you can see out but people can't really see in...

We booked one of these cabins for our upcoming Bermuda cruise. I'm pretty sure that people cannot see in, unless they press their noses to the window, or unless the lights are on at night and the drapes aren't drawn.

I suppose it depends on your aim for having a window, but I *love* looking out windows at night, so for me personally, being on that deck would be a royal pain. I would hate to have the windows drawn tightly at night :)

We were on the 7th(Promenade)deck last year. Since people were constantly jogging by our window, we drew our curtains while changing, or in bed.

 

However it was handy to go out and jog ourselves. All in All deck 7 was a great location.

 

This time we'll be on deck 4. More exercise to climb stairs to deck 7.

I have been on deck seven 3x'sand going again in 06 ... like idea of walking right out to deck ......walkers and joggers have never been a problem, 711,708, 748. : )

Do you remember if room 748 had a refrigerator? I am staying in the cabin directly across the hall and was wondering what the rooms there were like.

Windows are slightly tinted so people on deck cannot see in during the day -- but at night, the effect is reversed - you cannot see out if the lights are on, but people outside can see in -- another proplem is that the view of the sea (or whatever) is across the deck -- lower cabins whose windows are through the hull have much better views.

No 748 Didn't Have A Frigde In The Room The Cc's Up Front Did Though.....

And The Rooms Were Smaller...but Doable For 2....

room 748 did not have a fridge,,,the cc cabins up front did... this are a little smaller in the back but doable w/ 2 in the room.
